Help for Data Center Dodger, a pixel-art civic adventure.
How do I play?
Use the arrow pad to walk and the round button to talk, inspect or dash. In debates, pick a move each turn: present evidence, tell your story, rebut, ask a question or rally the room. Win by draining your opponent's Composure or winning the room before time runs out. The Notebook holds your meters, evidence, allies, rivals and saves.
Is my progress saved?
Yes. The game saves automatically on your device. To move a game to another device, open the Notebook, choose Save, copy the save code and paste it into Load a save code on the other device.
I lost a debate or got spotted. Is it over?
No. Losing a debate or getting spotted by a drone costs Resolve or time, never the game. The final televised debate is live, so there's no retry there.
There is no sound
Check that Sound is On, on the title screen or in the ☰ menu. On iPhone and iPad, also check that the device isn't in Silent mode.
The text is too small or too slow
Open the ☰ menu and choose Text size: Large, or Text: Instant.
Can I play in my browser?
Yes. Chapters 1 to 3 are free to play in your browser. The full game, with all 15 chapters and three endings, is for iPhone and iPad. To keep going in the app, copy the save code at the end of the demo and paste it into Load Save Code in the app.
Are you testing the game?
